Honeywell Lyric T5 Thermostat with API

There are a large number of "smart" thermostats available that integrate with smart home systems including Apple® HomeKit™ , Amazon Echo, Google Assistant and the Lyric mobile app for your phone. Beyond that the Lyric series allows API calls to monitor and control the device remotely.

The Honeywell thermostat includes all the features you would expect in a programmable wall mounted thermostat like:

• Time-Based Scheduling: Program your thermostat for one week; each day (each day is a different schedule); Mon-Fri, Sat, Sun; or Mon-Fri, Sat-Sun. All days with four adjustable periods per day.
• Temporary adjustments until the next scheduled time
• Holds for hours or days
• Smart Response allows the system to start ahead of a scheduled time to bring the zone to the correct temperature right on time instead of starting to hear or cool at the set time

All of that plus 2.4 GHz WiFi connectivity for app or API monitoring and control.

Supports for these options for WiFi security:

• OPEN
• WEP PSK
• WPA TKIP PSK
• WPA2 AES PSK
• WPA2 MIXED PSK

They are not compatible with :

• WPA AES PSK
• WPA2 TKIP PSK

The Honeywell RCHT8612WF T5 Plus Wi-Fi Touchscreen Smart Thermostat with Power Adapter (Black) can be used with the API or Lyric App.
